Meet Dr. Landis

Lesley V. Landis, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in aesthetic plastic surgery. As a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a current member of the prestigious American Society of Plastic Surgery and the Aesthetic Society, she has provided her patients with the highest level of care, compassion and surgical outcomes since 2015.

Dr. Landis was raised in Ardmore and Edmond, and graduated Valedictorian of her high school class. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Health and Sports Sciences, she went on to graduate from The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2007. While in medical school, she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for displaying extraordinary skill in compassionate care. She became board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery in 2013 after completing a five-year general surgery residency at The University of Oklahoma Tulsa. She then became board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 2016 after completing three years of advanced fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Dr. Landis returned to Oklahoma to practice at St. John Medical Center where she performed a variety of aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries including reconstruction after breast cancer, skin cancer, traumatic injuries, as well as body contouring after weight loss. She also served as chairwoman of the Department of Surgery from 2020 to 2022 and continues to hold privileges at the hospital as well as at Oklahoma Surgical Hospital.

As her practice evolved, Dr. Landis sought to provide a more streamlined patient experience focused on aesthetic surgery which led her to open Landis Plastic Surgery in August 2023. At Landis Plastic Surgery, she offers the most up-to-date and safe surgical techniques with an artistic and feminine touch. As one of the few board-certified female plastic surgeons in the region, she has a unique perspective paired with the ability to relate to her patients’ concerns regarding pregnancy, weight changes, and aging.

Outside of work, Dr. Landis enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and their twins, Evan and Ava. They love living in Midtown, traveling, and enjoying live music. Dr. Landis is also an avid triathlete, having completed Ironman races and many running events, including the New York City Marathon.
