Tara Laney, RN
Nurse
Tara is a Registered Nurse and Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse at Landis Plastic Surgery with over 16 years of nursing experience. Prior to joining Dr. Landis, she worked at The Center for Plastic Surgery beginning in 2015 where she found her passion in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Tara is a member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses. She became an RN in 2007 and has been a Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse since 2018 gaining extensive knowledge and skills in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Tara was born and raised in Tulsa, OK, however, her nursing career has taken her to New York and Dallas. In 2013 she returned to Tulsa and has worked in the NICU, pediatrics, and the OR as a circulator on the Orthopedic Trauma Team at St. Francis Hospital. Outside of nursing Tara enjoys living a healthy lifestyle, traveling and spending time with her family.
Abbie Black, RN
Aesthetic Nurse
Abbie is a registered nurse who helps our patients achieve natural looking aesthetic results with non-surgical treatments including injectables, Micro-Needling, and chemical peels. She is passionate about providing patients with seamless solutions whether the goal is to minimize the appearance of “Crow’s Feet”, add fullness to the lips or erase the signs of sun damage and aging on the surface of the skin. She aspires to help patients feel rejuvenated and regain their confidence.
Abbie is well-versed in mainstream treatments, as well as the latest in wrinkle releasing toxins, hyaluronic acid fillers to plump and topical skin treatments such as: Botox®, Dysport®, Juvederm® Suite of fillers, SkinPen® MicroNeedling, Dermaplaning, SkinCeuticals® medical tier chemical peels, and much more.
Since many patients are either not yet a candidate for surgery or they are looking for preventative solutions, Abbie works alongside Dr. Landis to explore and test new possibilities for her patients to provide the most desirable results.
Your individual needs will be reviewed with Abbie during a thorough consultation which will provide you with clear steps to achieve your results while ensuring your safety and comfort.
As a registered nurse, Abbie has 13 years of nursing experience. Her early background in surgical and hospital intensive care units equipped her to be highly attentive to patient safety protocols. With her additional training in aesthetics, she has a unique ability to balance achieving the results patients want, with the safety they need. Originally from Richmond, VA, she moved to Tulsa in 2009 with her husband, a native Oklahoman. Their sons are extremely active, and if Abbie isn’t busy on a sports field she enjoys traveling, cooking, and staying fit.
Dana Mulvey
Patient Coordinator
Dana joined Landis Plastic Surgery in 2024, taking on the role of Dr. Landis’ patient coordinator. Her background brings a wealth of experience to the practice, further enhancing the patient experience.
Originally born in Chicago and raised just outside Kansas City, Dana’s journey has taken her across several states. Throughout her travels, she cultivated both a career and a passion for medical aesthetics. Her dedication to the field began in 2004, and she holds a bachelor’s degree from Creighton University.
Dana’s expertise in medical aesthetics and plastic surgery spans a variety of roles. Her experience includes working as a licensed aesthetician, patient coordinator, and practice administrator. Dana is committed to guiding patients through their unique surgical experiences by providing compassionate understanding and educational support.
Outside of her professional life, Dana enjoys gardening and seeking out new hiking trails. She loves experimenting with recipes, taking on new workouts, and planning her future travels. Dana looks forward to supporting patients throughout every step of their plastic surgery journeys.
Brandi Hough
Front Desk Coordinator
As our Front Office Coordinator, Brandi brings a warm, welcoming presence and a deep passion for the aesthetic industry. Originally from Washington state, Brandi completed esthetician school before relocating to Fort Worth, Texas, where she worked as a Patient Care Coordinator. In that role, she discovered how much she enjoys connecting with patients and being part of their transformative journeys.
After having her first child, Brandi moved to Tulsa to be closer to family and is proud to be part of the Landis Plastic Surgery team. She loves hearing patient testimonials and strives to make every person who walks through the door feel comfortable, valued, and cared for.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling to new places, shopping, and spending time in Arizona which is one of her favorite places to relax and re-charge.
Josh Landis
Business Manager
Josh graduated from the University of Oklahoma with degrees in marketing and finance, as well as a handful of national championships in men’s gymnastics. After a long career in business development in the aerospace industry in Tulsa, he took on being a stay-at-home dad of twins. Now as business manager of Landis Plastic Surgery, he offers steady guidance in the day-to-day operations of the practice.
Mikayla Spata
Lead Operating Room Nurse
Mikayla joined Landis Plastic Surgery in 2025 after working with Dr. Landis as her primary nurse for 2 years at Oklahoma Surgical Hospital. She has been an RN since 2019 and received her BSN while living in Chattanooga, TN.
She loves her role in providing care to our patients and has a passion for helping people find their confidence in their own skin whether it be through surgeries, nutrition, skincare, or working out
Even though she grew up in Wisconsin and lived in Chattanooga for 8 years, she considers Tulsa home after moving here in 2023 to be closer to her family. Her favorite activities include spending time with her dogs and family (which includes 12 nieces and nephews), staying active and outdoors, baking, reading, and traveling. Her goal is to visit each of the 50 states!
Adella Irwin
Surgical Technologist
Adella joined Landis Plastic Surgery in 2025 as Dr. Landis’ Certified Surgical Technologist. She has worked beside Dr. Landis since 2015 while they were both at St. John Hospital and Oklahoma Surgical Hospital. She has extensive experience in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery but also worked in trauma as well as in General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedic, and Ophthalmology.
She was born in Germany and grew up in a military family which gave her the opportunity to live in several locations before settling in Oklahoma. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and son, traveling, spending time outdoors, reading anything and everything, watching football, and is a foodie that loves cooking and baking!
