Tara Laney, RN
Nurse
Tara is a Registered Nurse and Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse at Landis Plastic Surgery with over 16 years of nursing experience. Prior to joining Dr. Landis, she worked at The Center for Plastic Surgery beginning in 2015 where she found her passion in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Tara is a member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses. She became an RN in 2007 and has been a Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse since 2018 gaining extensive knowledge and skills in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Tara was born and raised in Tulsa, OK, however, her nursing career has taken her to New York and Dallas. In 2013 she returned to Tulsa and has worked in the NICU, pediatrics, and the OR as a circulator on the Orthopedic Trauma Team at St. Francis Hospital. Outside of nursing Tara enjoys living a healthy lifestyle, traveling and spending time with her family.
Abbie Black, RN
Aesthetic Nurse
Abbie is a registered nurse who helps our patients achieve natural looking aesthetic results with non-surgical treatments including injectables, Micro-Needling, and chemical peels. She is passionate about providing patients with seamless solutions whether the goal is to minimize the appearance of “Crow’s Feet”, add fullness to the lips or erase the signs of sun damage and aging on the surface of the skin. She aspires to help patients feel rejuvenated and regain their confidence.
Abbie is well-versed in mainstream treatments, as well as the latest in wrinkle releasing toxins, hyaluronic acid fillers to plump and topical skin treatments such as: Botox®, Dysport®, Juvederm® Suite of fillers, SkinPen® MicroNeedling, Dermaplaning, SkinCeuticals® medical tier chemical peels, and much more.
Since many patients are either not yet a candidate for surgery or they are looking for preventative solutions, Abbie works alongside Dr. Landis to explore and test new possibilities for her patients to provide the most desirable results.
Your individual needs will be reviewed with Abbie during a thorough consultation which will provide you with clear steps to achieve your results while ensuring your safety and comfort.
As a registered nurse, Abbie has 13 years of nursing experience. Her early background in surgical and hospital intensive care units equipped her to be highly attentive to patient safety protocols. With her additional training in aesthetics, she has a unique ability to balance achieving the results patients want, with the safety they need. Originally from Richmond, VA, she moved to Tulsa in 2009 with her husband, a native Oklahoman. Their sons are extremely active, and if Abbie isn’t busy on a sports field she enjoys traveling, cooking, and staying fit.
Dana Mulvey
Patient Coordinator
Born in Chicago and raised just outside of Kansas City, Dana had the pleasure of living in a handful of states while she developed a career in and love for the field of medical aesthetics. In 2004, she became a licensed esthetician after attending Broken Arrow Beauty College. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Baltimore, MD where she was trained in medical aesthetics with a renowned plastic surgery group and discovered her calling and passion to be part of every patient’s unique surgical experience. Dana most recently lived in Northwest Arkansas and Texas as she worked in roles as a practice administrator, patient coordinator, and patient consultant. For eight years, she worked in her most rewarding position at Gallas Plastic Surgery as the Patient Care Coordinator. Working alongside Dr. Gallas and his patients, she helped ensure the best possible experience and outcome from consultation through post-operative care. Her love for providing patients with compassion, understanding, education, and care led her to return to Tulsa to join Dr. Landis and her talented team to deliver outstanding patient experiences.
She has a special interest in healthy living and earned a BA in Healthy Lifestyle Management from Creighton University. When she’s not gardening you can find her discovering hiking and biking trails, experimenting with new recipes, challenging herself to break her personal best on her rower, or planning for upcoming travel. She looks forward to being your support advocate and guide with your upcoming procedure!
Laci Stark
Front Desk Coordinator + Receptionist
Laci has been with Landis Plastic Surgery since the beginning and has been instrumental in launching Dr. Landis’ private practice. She loves being part of building our practice through her fresh perspective, social media savvy, and drive to help patients feel and look their very best.
As our Front Office Coordinator and Receptionist, she is often the first person you will talk to on the phone, and the first person to welcome you when you arrive for your appointments. Patients love her positive and upbeat personality and willingness to help you feel comfortable and at home. She enjoys hearing patient stories and believes that patient reviews and testimonials are one of the most valuable and educational tools available to prospective patients. Laci is always looking for a story that resonates with Dr. Landis’ patients so she may contact you to share yours!
Laci is also very well versed in all skin care products and non-invasive aesthetic treatments offered at Landis Plastic Surgery. Patients appreciate her ability to help simplify complicated skin care routines and make recommendations based on your skin care needs and budget. She is always eager to help and answer your questions whether you receive a recommendation directly from Dr. Landis or Abbie or have an interest in learning more while visiting our practice.
Laci is proud to be an Oklahoman after moving from Dallas to Tulsa when she was young. She attends Tulsa Community College where she is pursuing an advanced degree in healthcare. She enjoys a busy lifestyle and in her spare time she loves to read, travel, attend baseball games and spend time with family and friends.
Josh Landis
Business Manager
Josh graduated from the University of Oklahoma with degrees in marketing and finance, as well as a handful of national championships in men’s gymnastics. After a long career in business development in the aerospace industry in Tulsa, he took on being a stay-at-home dad of twins. Now as business manager of Landis Plastic Surgery, he offers steady guidance in the day-to-day operations of the practice.
